MANILA, Philippines- Inilunsad ng Department of Tourism (DOT) ang 24/7 tourist assistance call center para sa mga reklamo at katanungan ng foreign guests.
“Isa sa mga hinaing ng ating mga partners sa toursim industry, yung mga travel stakeholders, ay pag nagkaroon ng problema o issue ang mga foreign guests sa Pilipinas, hindi po nila alam kung sino yung tatawagan nila o saan sila pupunta para makatanggap ng government information o assistance,” pahayag ni DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco sa nasabing launch.
Maaaring kontakin ang tourist assistance call center sa hotline 151-TOUR (151-8687).
Maaari nang magtanong ang mga turista ukol sa tourism accreditation, reklamo, local destination policies, landmarks, modes of transactions, events o festivals, at travel agencies.
Sa kasalukuyan, walo lamang ang agents na fluent sa English at Filipino, subalit balak ng ahensya na palawigin ang staff sa mga susunod na linggo o buwan. Target din nito na sanayin ang agents sa foreign languages.
