MANILA, Philippines – MAHIGIT sa 5,000 trabaho ang maaaring malikha sa bagong pasilidad ng Unilever sa Cavite province.
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., araw ng Biyernes ang inagurasyon ng bagong “beauty and wellbeing and personal care factory” ng Unilever sa General Trias.
“It is also worth mentioning that this plant is one of Unilever’s largest personal care facilities in the world and is expected to generate over 5,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities for our countrymen,” ang bahagi ng naging talumpati ni Pangulong Marcos.
Aniya, ang bagong pasilidad ay isang “welcome development” para sa lahat ng pagsisikap na palakasin ang manufacturing sector at kagyat na makalikha ng trabaho at makakuha ng kapaki-pakinabang na oportunidad para sa mga mamamayan.
“This manufacturing plant is projected to produce nearly 90,000 tons of various personal care products annually and this is to meet the growing domestic and export demand for Unilever products,” aniya pa rin.
Winika pa ng Pangulo na ang bagong pasilidad ay kabilang sa mga pangako na kanyang nasungkit sa kanyang naging byahe sa Belgium para sa ASEAN-EU Summit noong Disyembre 2022.
“To see this project come to fruition after just several months is not only encouraging, it also inspires me and the rest of the government to work even harder for the Filipino people,” ang pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos. Kris Jose
