MANILA, Philippines- Nasabat ng Philippine Coast Guard ang mahigit P140,000 illegal lumber sa isang anti-illegal logging operation sa San Fernando, Romblon.
Batay sa pahayag nitong Martes, inasistihan ng Philippine Coast Guard ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources na marekober ang inabandona at walang dokumentong kahoy sa Sitio Binayaan, Barangay España.
Natuklasan nila ang 528 board feet ng undocumented Apitong lumber, na itinurn-over sa DENRO Sibuyan.
