MANILA, Philippines- Inaprubahan ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang mas maagang pagpapalabas ng yearend bonus at cash gift ng mga nagtatrabaho sa pamahalaan.
Ipinalabas ni DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman noong Oct. 22 ang Budget Circular 2024-3, na nangangasiwa sa mas maagang pagpapalabas ng year-end bonus at cash gift ng government workers.
Inaamyendahan ng budget circular ang Section 6.1 ng Budget Circular 2016-4 na naglalatag ng mga alituntunin sa paggawad ng yearend bonus at cash gift.
Isinagawa ang amendment upang ipamahagi ang year-end bonus ng government employees katumbas ng isang buwang basic pay hanggang Oct. 31 at cash gift na P5,000 “simultaneously with the first agency payroll for the month of November of the current year” alinsunod sa mga kondisyon.
Ipinalabas ni Pangandaman ang bagong budget circular kasunod ng obserbasyong “government personnel continue to experience delays in receiving bonuses and cash gifts, affecting their morale, motivation, and level of job satisfaction.”
“Corollary, the streamlining of the payroll process of each agency will mitigate the internal and external causes of delay in the payment of the benefits. A streamlined process will increase productivity and efficiency, ensuring that the year-end bonus and cash gift will be granted on schedule,” saad sa circular.
Sa mga nakalipas na taon, karaniwang ibinibigay ang yearend bonus at cash gift sa kwalipikadong government employees nang hindi mas maaga sa Nov. 15.
