SORSOGON, Philippines – Sinabi ng National Housing Authority (NHA) na mahigit 2,000 benepisyaryo ang nakinabang sa isinagawang “People’s Caravan: Serbisyong Dala ay Pag-Asa” sa Capitol Compound ng Lungsod ng Sorsogon.
Bilang kinatawan ni NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, pinamunuan nina Region V Acting Manager at Concurrent Sorsogon/Masbate District Manager Engr. Rolando G. Ramos ang aktibidad kasama ang 36 partner agencies.
Kaugnay nito kabilang sa mga tanggapan na nakiisa ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Philippine National Police (PNP), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Fund, at Land Transportation Office (LTO), Sorsogon Civil Registry Office, at Sorsogon Police Provincial Office na naghandog ng serbisyo ukol sa aplikasyon ng ilang civil registry documents at valid IDs.
Para sa atensyong medikal, nagkaroon ng medical at dental missions ang Department of Health (DOH), Commission on Population and Development (CPD), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Provincial Government of Sorsogon, at Sorsogon City Health Office.
Samantala sa usaping trabaho at negosyo, naglatag ng information booth, orientation proper and skills demonstration, at job fair ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), at Public Employment Services Office (PESO) ng Sorsogon.
Nagkaroon din ng KADIWA Pop-Up Store at pamamahagi ng seedlings at fingerlings mula sa Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), at Office of the Provincial Agriculture.
Ilan pa sa mga ahensyang naghandog ng kanilang serbisyo ay ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) para sa kanilang libreng Wi-Fi connectivity at e-GovPH assistance; Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) para sa kanilang notarial at legal services; Philippine Information Agency (PIA) para sa orientation on dismissing fake news; GCash para sa financial literacy orientation; at ilan pang local na sangay ng Sorsogon para sa security at logistical support.
Dumalo rin sa kaganapan sina Sorsogon Governor Edwin B. Hamor, Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor, at First District Representative Marie Bernadette G. Escudero.
Ito ang unang caravan ng NHA sa buwan ng Agosto na inaasahang masusundan pa – isang pagpapatunay sa dedikasyon ng ahensya sa misyon nitong patuloy na maghandog ng kaginhawaan sa buhay ng pamilyang Pilipino, alinsunod sa hangarin ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” R.
