MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang intensyong busisiin ang co-financing opportunities sa sovereign wealth funds sa buong mundo.
Inihayag ito ni Marcos sa roundtable discussion sa Singaporean business leaders nitong Miyerkules sa pagbibigay-diin niya sa Maharlika Investment Fund ng Pilipinas.
“We look forward to exploring co-financing opportunities with foreign investors, with multilateral institutions, and other sovereign wealth funds around the world,” ani Marcos sa isang press release na inilabas nitong Huwebes.
“So, to our partners in Singapore, I offer you the assurance of our greatest efforts in supporting businesses as we work together in achieving our economic agenda and making the Philippines your destination of choice for investment,” patuloy niya.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa 10th Asia Summit na hinost ng Milken Institute sa Singapore nito ring Miyerkules, ibinida ni Marcos ang MIF sa paghikayat niya sa foreign investors na mamuhunan sa Pilipinas.
Ang MIF, isinabatas noong July, ay naglalayong gamitin ang state assets para sa investment ventures upang makakuha ng karagdagang public funds.
Iniahayag ni Marcos na mahalaga MIF bilang karagdagan sa umiiral funding mechanisms sa pamamagitan ng investments sa strategic high-return, high-impact sectors kabilang ang imprastraktura. RNT/SA
