MANILA, Philippines- Nagsagawa ng 100% audit ang Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa lahat ng accredited condemnation facility sa buong bansa.
“Ensuring the integrity and compliance of our accredited condemnation facilities is crucial in maintaining transparency and accountability of our operations,” giit ni Deputy Commissioner Vener S. Baquiran.
Ang Customs Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 07-2023, na nag-amyenda sa CMO No. 24-2021, ay nangangailangan na ang lahat ng aplikasyon para sa akreditasyon ng mga service contractor ay dapat aprubahan ng Deputy Commissioner, AOCG. Ito ay upang matiyak na ang lahat ng umiiral na accredited condemnation facilities ay sumusunod sa CMO No. 24-2021, na nagtatakda ng mga alituntunin para sa pagtatapon ng mga na-forfeit na kalakal sa pamamagitan ng condemnation.

Alinsunod sa inamyendahang Section 7.2 ng CMO No. 24-2021, ang Port Operations Service (POS), sa pamamagitan ng Auction and Cargo Disposal Monitoring Division (ACDMD), ay nag-audit ng 38 pasilidad, na binubuo ng 100% ng BOC-accredited condemnation facilities sa buong Pilipinas. JAY Reyes
