MANILA, Philippines – Bumaba ng 6.9% ang crime volume sa unang walong buwan ng 2023, kumpara sa kaparehong panahon noong 2022, sinabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) nitong Linggo, Agosto 27.
Sakop ng datos ang mga krimeng naitala mula Enero 1 hanggang Agosto 23, batay sa impormasyon mula sa Crime Research Analysis Center of the Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management.
Nakapagtala ng pinakamalaking pagbaba ang pagnanakaw ng sasakyan na may 31.98% na pagbaba, sinundan ng physical injury sa 15.87%, at rape sa 14.66%.
Naitala rin ang 5.03% na pagbaba sa pagnanakaw, robbery sa 6.36%, murder sa 2.07%, motorcycle theft sa 3.84%, at homicide sa 0.73%.
