MANILA, Philippines – Handang makipagtulungan ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa Philippine National Police (PNP) upang imbestigahan ang pagkasawi ng dalawang high school students sa Taguig City nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 10.
Ayon sa Taguig local government, ang mga biktima ay natagpuang wala nang buhay sa loob ng kanilang paaralan na Signal Village National High School, Biyernes ng gabi.
Sinabi ni DepEd spokesperson Undersecretary Michael Poa na nakipag-ugnayan na rin sa Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) ang concerned Schools Division Office.
“The DepEd fully commits to cooperate with the PNP Taguig regarding this matter, and is committed towards the swift and expeditious conduct of the ongoing investigation,” ayon sa ahensya.
Nakiramay naman ang DepEd sa pamilya ng mga biktima at nag-alok na tutulungan ang mga ito. RNT/JGC
