MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ng Comelec Second Division nitong Huwebes ang kanilang desisyon na ibinasura dahil sa kawalan ng hurisdiksyon ang petition for disqualification laban kay Erwin T. Tulfo bilang nominee for Party-List Representatives of Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) Party- List kaugnay ng 2022 National at Local Elections.
Ang ACT-CIS ay nakakuha ng 2,111,091 boto. sa 2022 NLE, pinakamataas sa lahat ng PL candidates, at nabigyan ng tatlong pwesto sa Kongreso, at iprinoklama noong May 26, 2022 ng Commission en banc na nagsilbing National Board of Canvassers (NBOC).
Si Tulfo ay ika-apat na nominee sa listahan ng nominado na isinumite sa Comelec.
Ang unang nominee ay naupo sa pwesto noong June 30, 2022 gayunman noong Feb. 22,2023 ang resignation ng third nominee na si Jeffrey Sorianp ay tinanggap ng House of Representatives.
“Being the next representative in the list, Section 16 of Republic Act No 7491 provides that Tulfo should automatically assume the seat vacated by Soriano to serve the latter’s unexpired term,” ayon sa Comelec. Jocelyn Tabangcura-Domenden
