Manila, Philippines – Dahil sa tagumpay ng Monday First Screening sa takilya ay nagkaroon agad ng instant tandem ang mga bida rito na sina Gina Alajar at Ricky Davao na tinatawag ngayon na GinRi.
Nasa Cloud 9 nga ngayon ang mga taga-Net25 productions, ang producer ng nasabing pelikula dahil napataob nito ang kalabang Hollywood Films na Blue Beetle at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
“We are able to get a lot of cinemas nu’ng succeeding days dahil number one among local films ang Monday First Screening sa opening day.
“First romcom namin ito and honestly, kinabahan kami dahil baka mga senior citizens lang ang manood but we are very happy sa reaction ng mga audience. Mga kuya, ate at mga bata, naka-relate sa movie.
“Happy narin kami dahil we are able to showcase our local movie na nakikipagsabayan sa foreign films,” sabi sa amin ni sir Caesar Vallejos, ang president ng Net25, sa block screening ng nasabing movie.
Magkano ba ang kinita ng pelikula sa first day?
“No figures yet basta sa opening day we were number 1. May magandang ranking kami during the opening day,” sabi niya.
Dahil sa success ng movie ay balak ulit gumawa ng Net25 productions ng marami pang pelikula.
“We would like to create more family movie to showcase the values genuinely. We really want to go back to the basics, to the old time honored values, like the respect for the elderly, love and faith. ‘Yun bang ma-realize natin na wala talaga tayong masasandalan kundi pamilya natin.”
Binanggit din ni sir Caesar na sa ngayon ay open ang Net25 sa ibang companies para mag-pitch ng kanilang project.
“There are directors na nagpi-pitch sa amin, mga film producers who are approaching us.
“Open din kami sa mga established companies like Regal and Viva Films. In fact, Monday First Screening is in collab with Regal Films because they diatribute the film.
“We are open to a lot of materials as long as the content is related to family values and aligned with the values of Net25 which are family friendy and general entertainment.
“Ito kasi ang advocacy ng Net25,” mahabang sabi ni sir Caesar.
May mga preferred actors ba ang Net25 na gustong makatrabaho sa susunod na pelikula?
“So far at this point, we have no any idea on whose actors and actresses ang pwedeng gumanap as long as they deliver the character, okay sa amin.”
As of the moment ay may arrangement na ang Net25 prod para mailabas sa isang malaking online streaming platform ang Monday First Screening. Ang hula ng mga taga-entertainment media, malamang ay maipalabas ito sa Netflix.
