MANILA, Philippines – Sinibak na sa serbisyo ng SM ang security guard na umano ay naghagis ng isang tuta sa labas ng mall sa Quezon City.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ng pamunuan ng mall na nakikiramay sila sa grupo ng mga kabataan na nagmamay-ari ng tuta na inihagis mula sa Skywalk nitong Martes, Hulyo 11.
Ayon sa management ng SM, nakipag-ugnayan na rin sila sa security agency ng gwardya upang magkasa ng imbestigasyon sa insidente.
Sa ngayon ay tinanggal na sa serbisyo ang security guard na kinilalang si Jojo Malecdem.
“With extreme sadness, we sympathize with the group of youngsters regarding the incident that happened outside our mall today,” sinabi ng SM City North Edsa.
“We have called the attention of the security agency to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into the matter. The Security Guard has been dismissed and is no longer allowed to service any of our malls nationwide,” dagdag pa.
Samantala, sinabi naman ng RJC Corporate Security Services Inc. na mahigpit na nilang iniimbestigahan ang insidente.
“We sincerely regret the incident that happened at a mall in Quezon City today involving a group of children and their pet. We are thoroughly investigating this incident together with the public authorities and the parties involved,” hiwalay na pahayag nito.
Muli namang iginiit ng management ng mall na sila ay isang pet-friendly establishment at kinokondena ang anumang karahasan laban sa mga hayop.
“As a pet-friendly establishment, we strongly condemn any acts that endanger or harm the lives of animals,” sinabi pa ng pamunuan ng mall. RNT/JGC
