MANILA, Philippines- Nagtalaga ang Philippine National Police (PNP) ng mahigit 32,000 law enforcers sa buong bansa upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at mga guro sa unang araw ng klase ngayong Martes.
Sinabi ng PNP na mahigit 32,700 pulis ang ipinakalat sa mahigit 6,000 police assistance desks sa school campuses at mga kalsada patungo sa academic institutions.
“These officers will be on alert, ensuring the protection of students, parents or guardians, and educators against potential opportunistic individuals who may attempt to exploit the situation,” pahayag ni PNP chief General Benjamin Acorda Jr.
Upang tumugon sa urgent security matters at emergencies, nagtalaga rin ng help desks.
Gayundin, sinabi ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) na magde-deploy ito ng motorcycle units, explosive ordnance disposal experts, at canine groups.
Magpapadala rin ito ng mobile teams at foot patrols sa transportation terminals at iba pang mataong lugar.
Tinalakay din ng NCRPO ang mga usapin sa public safety, drug abuse, at iba pang krimen kasama ang school administrators. RNT/SA
