MANILA, Philippines- Mahigit 50 milyong national IDs ang naipalabas na, base sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Inihayag ng PSA na naimprenta na nito ang kabuuang 50,262,059 IDs, 30,558,332 PhilIDs at 19,703,727 ePhilIDs.
Hanggang nitong January 31, may kabuuang 23,256,884 PhilIDs ang na-deliver.
Samantala, kabuuang 440,784 ePhilIDs ang na-download hanggang nitong February 2.
“The PSA, together with its field offices and partner agencies, implemented strategies to provide more Filipinos with the national ID to enable immediate utilization of PhilSys benefits. This landmark milestone is a testament that our initiatives are effective,” pahayag ni PSA Undersecretary, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Dennis Mapa.
Sinabi ng PSA na nakikipagtulungan ito sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas sa pagpapabilis ng produksyon ng IDs, at fsa Philippine Postal Corporation para sa mabilis na delivery nito. RNT/SA
