MANILA, Philippines – Inaresto ng mga awtoridad ang “high value individual” matapos makuhanan ng aabot sa P8.16 milyon halaga ng shabu sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Barangay Sabang, Naga City nitong Biyernes, Mayo 19.
Ayon kay Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-Bicol (PRO-5) spokesperson, kinilala ang suspek na si John Joseph Yukim, 34, ng Barangay Abella, Naga City.
“The police operation resulted in the seizure of 1.2 kilograms of shabu from the suspect’s possession. The 200 grams were the subject of the trade with the police poseur buyer, while the one kilogram was confiscated upon search and body frisk in his possession and control,” ayon kay Calubaquib.
Aniya, ikinokonsiderang high-value individual ang suspek dahil sa patuloy nitong pagbebenta ng illegal na droga.
“He is considered a high-value individual since he was under surveillance for a long period, and the drugs involved in his possession reached more than a million,” dagdag pa ni Calubaquib.
Sa ngayon ay nasa kustodiya na ng Police Station 1 sa Naga City ang suspek at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. RNT/JGC
