MANILA, Philippines – Apektado ng sunog sa Manila Central Post Office ang hindi pa tukoy na bilang ng mga Philippine Identification cards (PhilID).
Ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) nitong Lunes, Mayo 22, patuloy pa silang nakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) sa eksaktong bilang ng mga PhilID na nasira dahil sa sunog.
“Based on the initial information provided by the PHLPost, only PhilIDs for delivery in the City of Manila were affected by the fire. The PSA is working with the PHLPost to determine the number of PhilIDs affected,” pahayag ng PSA.
Nakahanda naman ang PSA na palitan ang PhilID kung ito ay nawala dahil sa sunog.
“We assure the public that the PhilIDs affected by the fire shall be replaced by the PSA at no additional cost to concerned registered persons, following protocols set by the PSA for such scenarios.”
Nitong Lunes, Mayo 22 ay tinupok ng apoy ang Manila Central Post Office na umabot pa sa general alarm. RNT/JGC
