MANILA, Philippines – Inaresto ng mga awtoridad ang isang lalaki na sangkot sa pagbebenta ng pekeng certificates mula sa
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at driver’s licenses mula sa Land Transportation Office (LTO).
Ikinasa ang entrapment operation laban sa suspek Lunes ng hapon, Hunyo 12 nang maghain ng reklamo ang biktima nang malaman niyang peke pala ang binayaran nitong National Certificate II (NC-2).
Kinilala ang suspek na si “Datu Simeon”, residente ng Barangay Rosary Heights 10 sa lungsod.
Ani Maj. John Vincent Bravo, city police station 2 commander, nagbebenta si Datu Simeon ng pekeng NC-2 certificates at driver’s licenses.
“He already sold more than 100 fake certificates. The man produces NC-2 certificates for a fee and the buyer no longer attends TESDA training anymore,” ayon kay Bravo.
Nagkakahalaga ang pekeng NC-2 certificate ng tig-P3,500.
“This is an online transaction with the victims paying also online. In some instances, it was a face-to-face transaction.”
Itinanggi naman ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education at TESDA BARMM ang anumang kaugnayan sa suspek. RNT/JGC
