MANILA, Philippines- Nangako si Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss nitong Biyernes na gagawin ng gobyerno ang lahat ng makakaya nito para pangasiwaan ang lgtas na paglabas ng mga Pilipino sa Gaza.
“We had a phone call yesterday between our ministers and we have different communication lines between Israel and the Philippines, close countries, friendly relations, and we’ve seen also they’ve voted, the Philippines in the United Nations. And we will do everything from our part in order to facilitate the safe exit of Filipinos that are in Gaza,” pahayag ni Fluss sa isang press briefing na inorganisa ng Israeli Embassy sa Manila sa pamamagitan ng Zoom.
Subalit, paglilinaw ni Fluss, ang papayagan lamang ng Israeli authorities na makalabas ng Gaza ay mga Pilipino at hindi mga asawa nilang Palestinian.
“We are only talking about Filipinos. We said that we will facilitate their exit today and tomorrow,” aniya. RNT/SA
