Liza Marcos nakipagkita sa investment, energy authorities sa UAE

MANILA, Philippines – Nakipagkita si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos sa mga opisyal ng Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), isang sovereign wealth fund na pagmamay-ari ng pamahalaan ng Abu Dhabi.

Sa Instagram post, sinabi ng first lady na nagging produktibo ang pakikipagpulong nito sa ADIA.

“Had a productive meeting with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority —one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world!” aniya.

“Thank you for the insightful discussions!”

Sinamahan ni Maharlika Investment Corp. (MIC) president Rafael Consing Jr. si Marcos sa naturang pagpupulong.

Ang MIC ay ang government-owned firm na namamahala sa kauna-unahang sovereign wealth fund ng Pilipinas na Maharlika Investment Fund.

Kasunod nito, nakipagkita rin ang First Lady sa mga representative ng Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation at ng Filipino community leaders.

“I was amazed to learn about the UAE’s commitment to foster clean energy worldwide. We had an interesting discussion on how these innovations are shaping a sustainable future,” ani Marcos.

Samantala, iniulat din na nakipagpulong si Marcos kay Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, asawa ng Pangulo ng UAE na si Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“The two sides discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation between entities in both countries across various fields, especially in culture, arts, and heritage. They also explored ways to enrich the cultural and artistic landscape in both nations, with a particular focus on early childhood development and investment in human capital, which is a priority,” saad sa ulat.
