Sinabi ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Garafil na natanggap ng Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs ang panukala nitong Martes.
Wala pang balita mula sa Palasyon kung kailan lalagdaan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang panukala.
Nilalayon ng Maharlika Investment Fund bill na gamitin ang state assets para sa investment ventures upang makakalap ng karagdagang public funds.
Binigyang-diin ni Marcos, na sinertipikang urgent ang MIF bill, na magiging independent ang MIF mula sa pamahalaan kapag naisabatas na.
“I will sign it as soon as I get it,” pahayag pa ni Marcos.
