MANILA, Philippines – Nilinaw ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) nitong Lunes, Mayo 22, na tanging ang mga
Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) IDs na idedeliver sa lungsod ng Maynila ang apektado ng sunog sa Manila Central Post Office.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ni National Statistician and Civil Registrar General Claire Dennis Mapa na ang PSA ay nakikipag-ugnayan na sa Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) upang tukuyin kung ilang PhilIDs ang naapektuhan ng sunog na tumama sa gusali nitong Linggo ng gabi, Mayo 21.
Aniya, papalitan ng PSA ang mga apektadong PhilIDs nang libre.
“Based on the initial information provided by the PHLPost, only PhilIDs for delivery in the City of Manila were affected by the fire,” sinabi ni Mapa.
“We assure the public that the PhilIDs affected by the fire shall be replaced by the PSA at no additional cost to concerned registered persons, following protocols set by the PSA for such scenarios,” dagdag niya.
