MANILA, Philippines- Inanunsyo ng West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. nitong Martes na magbibigay ito ng mas malaking discounts sa water bills ng kwalipikadong low-income at low-consuming residential customers.
Ipatutupad ng Maynilad ang “Enhanced Lifeline Program” nito simula January 1, 2024.
Sa ilalim ng Regular Lifeline Program, magbibigay ang water distribution utility ng 41% discount sa basic charge ng “lifeline” customers—o ang kumokonsumo kada buwan ng hindi lalapmpas sa 10 cubic meters.
Anang Maynilad, sa ilalim ng ELP, ang lifeline customers—o mga marginalized, kabilang ang mga benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) base sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)—”can apply and qualify for a higher discount on their water bills.”
Inilunsad umano ang ELP matapos hikayatin ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System-Regulatory Office (MWSS-RO) ang “Maynilad to extend a discount not only to its low-consuming customers but also to its marginalized customers, as they are the ones who stand to benefit greatly from the savings that the ‘low-income lifeline rate’ will yield.”
Anang Maynilad, ang mga customer na kwalipikado para sa “low-income lifeline” rate ay maaaring mag-apply sa pamamagitan ng pagsusumite ng application form, latest water bill, at photocopy ng kanilang 4Ps identification saan mang Maynilad Business Area office o Maynilad Barangay Helpdesk.
Para sa non-4Ps beneficiaries,kailangan ng local Social Welfare and Development Office certification at photocopy ng isang government ID, anito.
