MANILA, Philippines – Hinimok ng Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) ang local government units na gawing simple ang mga hakbang nito at makita ang magandang resulta sa paglikha ng “vibrant economy” sa pribadong sektor.
Ang ARTA ay nagsasagawa ng serye ng regional summits, upang palakasin ang mga opisina ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor upang masiguro ang “timely” at “hassle-free services.”
“In order to gain the support of local and foreign investors, there’s a need for a stronger collaboration not just with local government units but more so with the private sector,” pahayag ni Secretary Ernesto Perez sa summit na idinaos nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 10, sa Ilocos.
Ani Perez, mas mapalalago ang ekonomiya sa mas maraming business-friendly community, local government units, kahit anuman ang income classification nito.
Bilang bahagi ng “streamlining” sa government procedures, ipinaalala ng ARTA sa mga LGU na tumugon sa electronic Business One-Stop Shop (eBOSS), isang single online portal kung saan maaaring ma-access ng mga kliyente ang kaukulang serbisyo at impormasyon para sa business registration ayon sa mandato ng Republic Act 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act).
Sa datos ng ARTA hanggang noong Agosto, tanging 627 sa 1,634 local government units ang tumugon na rito.
Sa 627, tanging 16 ang fully automated habang ang nalalabing 611 ay partially automated.
“eBOSS is highly relevant as it provides a digitalized and streamlined business processing and licensing system that will entice more entrepreneurs to register their business,” ani Perez. RNT/JGC
