MANILA, Philippines – Nasa kabuuang P7.5 bilyon ang ilalaan para sa mid-year bonus ng nasa 227,832 tauhan ng Philippine National Police, ayon sa anunsyo ng
PNP Public Information Office (PIO) nitong Martes, Mayo 16.
Ani PNP Chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr., ang pondo ay kinuha mula sa nakalaang badyet ng PNP mula sa 2023 national budget.
“The [PNP] has released funds totaling Php7,544,095,221.00 to pay for the mid-year bonus of 227,832 active duty PNP personnel,” pahayag ng PNP.
Anang PIO, ang mid-year bonus ay katumbas ng isang buwang sahod.
Hindi naman makatatanggap ng bonus ang mga pulis na may pending na kaso o nahaharap sa parusa.
“The mid-year bonus serves as a testament to our commitment to our personnel’s welfare. It is an acknowledgment of their dedication and sacrifices, especially during challenging times. We hope that this bonus will provide them with additional support and encourage them to continue their noble service to our nation,” sinabi ni Acorda. RNT/JGC
