MANILA, Philippines- Mahigit P74 milyong umano’y pekeng cellular telephone accessories ang nasamsam sa Quiapo, Manila ng mga ahente ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Sinabi ng NBI nitong Biyernes: “The implementation of the Search Warrants resulted in the seizure of substantial quantity of counterfeit batteries, LCD’s (liquid crystal display) chargers, and earphones bearing the trademark ‘Huawei’ worth P74,738,072.”
Isinagawa ng mga ahente ng NBI’s National Capital Region (NBI-NCR) ang pagkumpiska sa hinihinalang pekeng produkto nong Setyembre 27.
Anito, ikinasa ang search warrants sa pitong warehouses sa High Infinity building at isang tindahan sa Manila City Plaza sa Quiapo.
Hindi naman nabanggit ng NBI kung may naarestong mga suspek. RNT/SA
