MANILA, Philippines – MAKATUTULONG sa bansa ang ginagawang pagtutulak ng gobyerno para baguhin at ayusin ang education curriculum.
Inihayag ito ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa kanyang naging talumpati sa paglulunsad ng National Innovation Agenda Strategy Document (NIASD) 2023-2032.
Nauna rito, sinabi ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) na “a document that contains the country’s vision and long-term goals for innovation.”
Winika pa ng Pangulo na ang NIASD ay hindi lamang isang dokumento kundi isang commitment upang ang gagawing inobasyon ay maging bahagi ng development agenda ng bansa.
Ang edukasyon aniya at akademya ay kabilang sa tinatawag na “drivers of innovation.”
“We shall reform our education curriculum design and learning platforms to develop the creativity, curiosity, problem solving skills and entrepreneurial abilities of Filipinos for the 21st century,” ayon sa Punong Ehekutibo.
Tinawag naman nito ang ang akademya na “incubators of talent, skills, and ideas” na makatutulong na humubog sa hinaharap.
Tiniyak naman nito na kaparehong atensyon ang ibibigay sa mga lugar na makapagpapalakas sa ekonomiya ng bansa.
“We shall bolster spending for research and development, support local enterprises, ensure food security through smart agricultural inputs to empower local producers, facilitate efficient and secure financial services, accelerate digitalization efforts to boost manufacturing processes and commercialization of products and services, improved mobility through better urban-rural linkages and reduce carbon footprints of our transport systems,” ani Pangulong Marcos.
“Filipinos, will match the investments being made by the government as they will help fuel the drive towards innovation,” aniya pa rin.
Nanawagan naman ang Pangulo sa foreign partners para sa kolaborasyon o pagtutulungan.
“Let us join hands to advance our shared positive development goals,” ayon sa Pangulo sabay sabing “Let us foster unity not only here in our country but also across the globe through the transformative power of innovation.” Kris Jose
