MANILA, Philippines- Tiniyak ng Kamara na hahanap ito ng “viable solution” sa ilang isyu na bumabalot sa Military and Uniformed Personnel (MUP) Pension bago matapos ang taon, ayon kay Ako Bicol Rep. Elizaldy Co nitong Linggo.
Sinigurado ito ni Co, House appropriations committee chairman, sa paghayag niya ng suporta sa mabilis na pagpapasa ng priority bills ng kasalukuyang administrasyon.
“As the chairman of the House committee on appropriations, it is my utmost duty to work in collaboration with Speaker Romualdez and our esteemed colleagues to ensure that the priority bills gain the momentum they deserve. These bills hold the key to our nation’s progress and prosperity,” pahayag niya.
Inihayag ni Co na kabilang ang MUP Pension sa 17 proposed priority measures ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., na naglalayong paigtingin ang economic recovery at makalikha ng mas maraming trabaho para sa mga Pilipino.
Sa nasabing priority measures, ipinasa ng Kamara sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ang pito sa mga ito. Apat pa ang naghihintay ng pag-apruba bago ang break ng Kamara sa Oktubre. RNT/SA
