BACOLOD CITY- Inanunsyo ni Vice President at concurrent Education Secretary Sara Duterte na wawakasan niya ang kultura ng “palakasan” sa hiring system ng Department of Education (DepEd).
Sa kanyang talumpati sa harap ng 3,425 guro at empleyado ng Negros Occidental Schools Division nitong Biyernes, sinabi ni Duterte na sinarhan ng ganitong sistema ng pintuan ang mga mahuhusay, karapat-dapat at kwalipikadong aplikante.
Aniya, matitiyak sa nililikhang automated system ng DepEd ang “objective selection process” para sa pagtanggap at promotion ng personnel.
“DepEd’s vision is to provide innovative long term solutions to basic education challenges,” aniya.
Binanggit din ni Duterte ang planong pagaanin ang trabaho ng public school teachers sa pagdiriwang ng National Teachers’ Month sa Panaad Sports Complex sa Bacolod City.
Gayundin, pinaplantsa ng DepEd ang The DepEd ang website para mabigyan ang mga guro ng legal assistance para sa financial loan contract problems.
