MANILA, Philippines – ITINANGGI ng Presidential Action Center (PACe) na sangkot ito sa pamamahagi ng P5,000 at ilang kilo ng bigas.
“We have been made aware of false information circulating in nearby areas, claiming that the Presidential Action Center is distributing P5,000 in cash and kilos of rice. We want to clarify that this information is entirely false,” ang pahayag ng PACe sa official Facebook account nito.
“The Presidential Action Center is not engaged in any such distribution, and no such program is currently in operation,” dagdag na pahayag nito.
Kaya pinayuhan ng PACe ang publiko na kung may mai-engkuwentrong ganitong usapin ay mangyari na iberipika munang mabuti sa pamamagitan ng kanilang official channels o kontakin at mag- email sa [email protected].
“Together, we can combat the spread of false information and promote a more informed and resilient community. Let us unite in our commitment to truth, for accurate information is our most powerful tool against misinformation,” ayon sa PACe.
Ang PACe ay ang dating Presidential Complaint Center, itinatag para panatilihin ang plataporma na tumatanggap ng “requests, complaints, at grievances” mula sa general public, at i-refer ang mga ito sa concerned government agencies. Kris Jose
