Panukalang P5.768T 2024 budget target aprubahan ng Kamara ngayong Setyembre

MANILA, Philippines- Nilalayon ng Kamara na aprubahan ang panukalang national budget para sa 2024 sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ngayong buwan, ayon kay Speaker Martin Romualdez nitong Lunes.

“We will work morning and afternoon and on Thursday and Friday this week to meet our timeline. The national spending bill is the single most important piece of legislation Congress passes every year,” pahayag ni Romualdez bago magsimula ang plenary deliberations sa proposed P5.768-trillion budget ngayong Martes.

“September 27, Wednesday, will be the last day of budget deliberation. If needed, the House of Representatives can still hold a session until September 29,” dagdag niya.

Nagsasagawa lamang ng sesyon ang Kamara tuwing Lunes hanggang Miyerkules. Batay sa legislative calendar, inaasahang mag-aadjourn ang sesyon ng Kamara sa September 28, Miyerkules, at babalik sa November 6, Lunes.

Aarangkada sa plenary debates ngayong Martes ng umaga ang deliberasyon sa proposed 2024 budgets ng Department of Finance, Department of Tourism, at National Economic and Development Authority, kabilang ang attached agencies ng mga ito, at mga opisina sa ilalim ng Office of the President (OP).

Magpapatuloy ang plenary deliberations hanggang September 27: 

  • September 19: Office of the Ombudsman, Commission on Elections, Commission on Human Rights, Department of National Defense, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Trade and Industry, at mga ahensya sa ilalim ng OP

  • September 20: Judiciary, Department of Justice, Department of Agrarian Reform, Presidential Communications Office, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, at state universities and colleges

  • September 21: Congress, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Labor and Employment, at Department of Interior and Local Government, kabilang ang attached agencies nito, at funding support para sa ilang government corporations

  • September 25: Civil Service Commission, Commission on Audit, Department of Energy, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health

  • September 26: OP, Office of the Vice President, Department of Education, Metro Manila Development Authority, and Dangerous Drugs Board, Department of Public Works and Highways, at Department of Environment and Natural Resources

September 27: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Transportation, Department of Budget and Management, at lump-sum appropriations. RNT/SA
