PBBM muling nanawagan sa NoKor sa pagtalim sa UN resolutions

MANILA, Philippines – MULING Inulit ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang panawagan nito para sa Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) na sumunod  sa  United Nations (UN) Security Council Resolutions kasunod ng serye ng intercontinental ballistic missile launch tests.

“In the interest of maintaining peace and stability in the region, we express grave concern over the recent surge of intercontinental ballistic missile launches conducted by the DPRK. We underscore the need for the DPRK to fully comply with all UN Security Council Resolutions,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang intervention sa 24th ASEAN-Republic of Korea Summit, araw ng Miyerkules, Setyembre 6.

“We also affirm our support for the principles embodied in the ROK’s audacious initiative that aims to achieve a denuclearized DPRK, an essential component for sustainable peace and prosperity in the Korean Peninsula, in Northeast Asia, and the world,” ang wika ng Pangulo.

“We consider it a critical issue that, really, we in the region must work together very, very hard to try to alleviate the tensions, to try to make all the proponents of peace in the region be the dominant voice,” ayon sa Pangulo. Kris Jose
