MANILA, Philippines – Kaisa ng Pilipinas ang Poland sa pagpapanatili ng rules-based order and peace sa Indo-Pacific Region.
Ang pahayag na ito ni Polish Chargé d’affaires Jarosław Szczepankiewicz ay kasabay ng courtesy call nito kay Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. noong Hunyo 30.
“On regional security developments, the Chargé d’affaires conveyed that Poland is one with the Philippines in upholding the rules-based international order and maintaining peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, especially in the West Philippine Sea,” pahayag ni DND spokesperson Arsenio Andolong nitong Huwebes, Hulyo 6.
Sa kabila ng security challenges, nagkasundo ang dalawang opisyal na magtutulungan para sa pagpapalakas ng kapasidad ng Armed Forces.
Samantala, pinagtibay din ni Szczepankiewicz ang malakas na bilateral defense cooperation sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Poland.
“Secretary Teodoro expressed his appreciation to the Polish government for the S-70i ‘Black Hawk’ helicopter project, which was intended to boost the capability of the Philippine Air Force (PAF),” ani Andolong. RNT/JGC
