Pope Pius XII Catholic Center sa Maynila, pinangalanang ‘important cultural property’

MANILA, Philippines – Idineklara ang Pope Pius XII Catholic Center sa Maynila bilang “important cultural property” ng National Museum of the Philippines nitong Sabado, Enero 27.

“Pope Pius XII Catholic Center is now an important cultural property of our country. Let us help one another in preserving and sustaining it,” pahayag ni Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula kasabay ng pagpapasinaya ng ICP marker kasama si papal nuncio Archbishop Charles Brown at NMP director general Jeremy Barns.

“As Pope Pius XII Catholic Center celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, we would like to pursue its original vision and even intensify its core purpose as an evangelization center,” ani Advincula.

“All cultural properties declared important cultural property may also receive government funding for [their] protection, conservation, and restoration,” saad sa batas. RNT/JGC
