MANILA, Philippines- Nagsimula na ang Kamara ng kanilang preparasyon para sa ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.
Sa ipinalabas na memorandum ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco, nakasaad na ang SONA ay gaganapin sa Hulyo 24.
“Pursuant to the 1987 Constitution and following established traditions, the second regular session of the 19th Congress will convene on 24 July 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the plenary hall of the House of Representatives (HRep),” nakasaad sa memorandum.
“At 4 p.m. the same day, the joint session of Congress will be held to hear the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.,” ayon pa rito.
Lahat ng hindi SONA transaction ay suspendido mula Hulyo 20 hanggang 24 at magpapatupad ng one-kilometer radius na no fly zone sa HRep Complex simula ala-1 ng hapon hanggang alas-7ng gabi gayundin ay mahigpit na ipatutupad ang mga polisiya na “No SONA 2023 ID, No Entry” at No SONA Car Pass, No Entry.”
Ang lahat ng dadalo ay magsusuot ng Barong/ Filipiniana attire at hindi papayagan ang damit na mayroong anumang uri ng political messages.
Hindi rin papayagan ang picture-taking sa rostrum ng plenary hall pagkatapos ng SONA.
Samantala, magkakaroon din ng isang Joint Operation Coordinating Center (JOCC) na pangungunahan ng House Sergeant-at-Arms katuwang ang Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, at iba pang ahensya na may kinalaman sa seguridad ng SONA 2023.
Mag-uumpisa naman sa July 20 ang “lockdown period” sa Batasan Complex.
Maglalabas ng panibagong abiso ang House Secretariat, tungkol naman sa rehistrasyon ng ID, car pass at health and safety protocols sa SONA 2023 lalo’t mayroon pa ring COVID-19 pandemic.
