MANILA, Philippines- Inanunsyo ng pamunuan ng Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) nitong Miyerkules na nakatakda itong magsagawa ng rail replacement works sa Baclaran station mula September 20 hanggang 24.
Upang bigyang-daan ang maintenance activity, sinabi ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) na isasara ang b=bahagi ng reversing tracks ng Baclaran.
Makaaapekto ang closure, ayon sa LRMC, sa train movements, deployment at paggamit ng station platforms ng LRT-1 para sa pagsasakay at pagbababa ng mga pasahero. Itataas din nito ang train timetable at headway mula apat na minuto sa tinatayang limang minuto.
“As the LRT-1 system continues to cater to our growing ridership, LRMC commits to providing a safe and reliable transportation system. We would like to ask for the kind understanding of our commuters and apologize in advance for the temporary inconvenience as we conduct these rail renewal activities needed for improved LRT-1 experience,” pahayag ni LRMC Chief Operating Officer Rolando Paulino III.
“We also continue with the deployment of our new 4th Generation trains to carry more passengers, with five train sets already in commercial service,” dagdag niya.
Dahil dito, inabisuhan ng LRMC ang publiko na planuhin ang biyahe.
