MANILA, Philippines – Lumikha ng 35 Special Expropriation Court ang Korte Suprema upang mabilis na umusad ang mga kasong may kinalaman sa National Railway Project ng pamahalaan.
Ang mga korteng ito ay mga Regional Trial Court na binubuo ng National Capital Region, Third Judicial Region, Fourth Judicial Region, Fifth Judicial Region at Eleventh Judicial Region.
“Effective June 18, 2024, the designated courts are directed to give priority to national railway project expropriation cases in accordance with the requirements under the Right-of-Way Act and existing rules and guidelines.”
Ang mga ito ang inatasan na magresolba sa mga kaso o petisyon na may kinalaman sa mga Railway Project ng gobyerno.
“All such cases filed in the stations above shall be assigned to the designated courts and judges.”
Kabilang na dito ang Metro Manila Subway Project, North-South Commuter Railway System, Mindanao Railway Project, at Philippine National Railway South Long Haul Project. Teresa Tavares
