MANILA, Philippines – IPINAG-UTOS ng Office of the President (OP) na bigyan ng bagong bihis ang Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger.
Nakasaad sa Executive Order 27 na tinintahan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, may petsang Mayo 18 at ipinalabas, araw ng Linggo, ang Task Force on Zero Hunger ay pangungunahan ng Kalihim ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (chairperson) at National Council executive director (co-chairperson).
Uupo naman si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., kasalukuyang tumatayong Kalihim ng Department of Agriculture (DA) bilang vice chairperson ng task force.
Magiging bahagi naman ang Kalihim ng Edukasyon sa katauhan ni Vice President Sara Duterte bilang miyembro ng task force.
Ang iba pang miyembro ay kinabibilangan ng Kalihim ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Science and Technology (DOST), at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
Kasama naman sa magiging miyembro ng task force ay ang chairperson ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) at kinatawan mula sa Office of the President (OP).
Samantala, ayon sa EO, ang task force ay pinangunahan noon ng Office of the Cabinet Secretariat (OCS) subalit ang tungkulin nito ay inilipat sa Presidnetial Management Staff (PMS) sa ilalim ng EO 11, ipinalabas noong 2022.
Kasunod ng pagbuwag sa OCS sa kahalintulad na taon, nakasaad sa EO 27 na may pangangailangan na amiyendahan ang EO 101. Kris Jose
