Noong ika-4 na Hunyo, inanunsyo ng mga opisyal ng Pag-IBIG Fund na inaprubahan ng ahensya ang P815 milyon developmental loan para makapagtayo ng kabuuang labing-pito (17) medium to high-rise condominium buildings sa San Mateo, Rizal sa ilalim ng Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program ng gobyerno. Mayroon kabuuang 4,670 units maaaring ibigay sa mga miyembro ng Pag-IBIG na naninirahan sa lugar, kapag natapos na ang proyekto.
“I am pleased to report that there is a consistent growth of proponents partnering with Pag-IBIG Fund in building sustainable and self-sufficient communities through the 4PH Program. Buyer-beneficiaries of the 4PH will now have access to more affordable and decent homes, in line with President Marcos’ vision to address the housing needs of Filipino workers, especially the underserved,” Ayon kay Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar, na namumuno sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at ng 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.
Magsisimula ang proyekto sa Brgy. Guitnang Bayan I, San Mateo, Rizal, ang kauna-unahang phase o ang 1st phase ng proyekto ay nagkaroon na ng makabuluhang pag-unlad sa pamamagitan ng pagtatayo ng building 1 hanggang building 6 na may kabuuang 1,080 condo unit, sa loob lamang ng pitong buwan mula sa pagpirma ng kontrata sa pagitan ng developer at ng Munisipyo ng San Mateo.
Alinsunod sa commitment ng Pag-IBIG sa integridad at wastong pamamahala sa pananalapi, ipinapatupad ang pagsunod ng mga developer-contractor’s sa mga kinakailangang permit at akreditasyon, aplikasyon ng maximum payment term na tatlong (3) taon para sa developmental loan, at mga probisyong nagtitiyak sa pagpapalabas ng mga pondo para lamang sa mga nilalayong proyekto.
Binigyang-diin ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta na ang mga benepisyo para sa Pambansang Pabahay (4PH) buyer-borrowers, kabilang ang lower payment terms sa pamamagitan ng subsidies and acquiring properties sa isang napapanatili ng komunidad na may access sa mahahalagang imprastraktura at serbisyo.
“Pag-IBIG Fund members will greatly benefit from availing of projects under the Pambansang Pabahay (4PH) program, which include affordable monthly payments due to interest and price subsidies as package price is regulated. This will ensure affordability while enjoying quality living in a well-designed township with vertical infrastructure in proximity to commerce centers, educational institutions, and healthcare centers. These buildings ensure that residents will have comfortable and improved living conditions through green features, communal open spaces and gardens, as well as amenities such as swimming pools and basketball courts. Our aim is to elevate the quality of life for Filipino workers through the opportunity of homeownership,” pahayag ni Acosta.
