MANILA, Philippines- Inanunsyo ng Philippine National Police (PNP) nitong Martes ang implementasyon ng adjustments sa rice subsidy ng uniformed officers ngayong taon.
Sinabi ni PNP Public Information Office chief Col. Jean Fajardo na mangongolekta ng P100 mula sa kada opisyal para sa mga buwan ng Mayo at Hunyo, na katumbas ng labis na halaga ng rice subsidy na ibinigay noong Enero at Pebrero.
“It is important to note that while the previous fiscal directive set the rice subsidy rate at PHP700.00 for FY (Financial Year) 2023 and subsequent years, the newly approved Fiscal Directive No. 2024-03 has reverted the rice subsidy to PHP650.00 per month for FY 2024,” wika ng opisyal.
Sa ilalim ng Special Provision No. 9 ng 2024 General Appropriations Act, may alokasyon ang rice allowance para sa mga pulis na P1.69 bilyon.
Nilalayon ng subsidiya na mabigyan kada isang uniformed officer ng 20 kilo ng bigas o katumbas ng P650 kada buwan.
