MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng makapangyarihang Commission on Appointments nitong Martes ang mga nominasyon ng tatlong ambassador at ang ad interim appointment ng 25 foreign service officials.
Bago ang development na ito, inendorso ni CA committee on foreign affairs chairperson Senator Jinggoy Estrada sa plenaryo ang pag-apruba sa mga sumusunod na appointment:
-Daniel Ramos Espiritu: Chief of Mission, Class I bilang Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ireland
-Mardomel Celo Domingo Melicor: Chief of Mission, Class II bilang Ambassador Extraordinary at Plenipotentiary sa Estado ng Qatar
-Mary Anne Alfonso Padua: Chief of Mission, Class II bilang Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste
