36 distrito makatatanggap ng tig-P10M AKAP funds sa pagbaha – Romualdez

MANILA, Philippines – Magbibigay ang pamahalaan sa 36 legislative districts ng tig-P10 milyon ng AKAP funds bilang tulong sa mga apektado ng pagbaha dala ng Tropical Storm Crising at Southwestern Monsoon o Habagat, sinabi ni Leyte Representative Martin Romualdez nitong Martes, Hulyo 22.

Ang tulong ay ipamamahagi sa pamamagitan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa pangunguna ni Secretary Rex Gatchalian.

Ang mga benepisyaryo ay ang 33 legislative districts sa Metro Manila at tatlo sa Palawan:

“This is just the beginning of our coordinated disaster response. This amount will go a long way, but this will not be the last. The people should be able to feel that the government is ready to help them,” ani Romualdez.

Bukod sa financial aid, inihahanda na rin ang relief packs para sa mass distribution, kabilang ang pagbibigay ng hot meals para sa mga evacuee sa mga paaralan, covered courts at iba pang temporary shelters. RNT/JGC
