Dela Rosa, 4 pang ex-PNP execs pinangalanang ICC suspects – Trillanes

MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ni dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV nitong Huwebes na tinukoy si Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa at apat na dating ranking police officials bilang suspek sa imbestigasyon ng International Criminal Court (ICC) sa war on drugs ng administrasyong Duterte.

Sa X (dating Twitter), nag-post si Trillanes ng umano’y kopya ng kautusan ng Office of the Prosecutor (OTP) ng ICC kung saan pinangalanan si Dela Rosa at iba pang suspek sa ICC case laban kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Bukod kay Dela Rosa, dating Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, pinangalanan din umano sa dokumento sina:

• dating PNP chief Oscar Albayalde, 

• dating Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) chief Romeo Caramat Jr., 

• dating National Police Commission commissioner Edilberto Leonardo, at

• dating PNP Intelligence Officer Eleazar Mata

“[T]he OTP has reasonable grounds to believe that the following retired and serving members of the PNP have committed crimes within the jurisdiction of the OTP,” saad umano sa kautusan base sa post ni Trillanes.

Tumangging magkomento ang OTP Public Information Unit kung totoo ang nasabing order, at sinabing: “The Office does not provide comment on any statements made by governments or other state representatives and is unable to verify or authenticate any documents shared by outside sources,” batay sa email nito.

Ayon naman sa kampo ni Trillanes, nagmula ang dokumento sa “sources privy to the ICC investigation.”

Sa kasalukuyan ay wala pa ring komento ang ilan sa dating PNP officials na nabanggit sa post ni Trillanes. 

Pinabulaanan naman ni Dela Rosa ang post ni Trillanes at iginiit na walang bago rito.
