MANILA, Philippines – Nakataas ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 4 sa pitong lugar sa Luzon habang binabagtas ng Bagyong Nika ang Northern Luzon, ayon sa state weather bureau PAGASA Lunes.

Ang sentro ng Nika ay matatagpuan sa paligid ng San Agustin, Isabela na kumikilos pahilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 25 kilometro bawat oras (kph) na may lakas ng hanging aabot sa 130 kph malapit sa gitna at pagbugsong aabot sa 160 kph.
“Ang NIKA ay tatawid sa kalupaan ng mainland Luzon ngayon at lalabas sa dagat kanluran ng Ilocos Sur mamayang hapon o gabi,” sabi ng PAGASA.
“Ang tropical cyclone na ito ay maaaring humina sa isang severe tropical storm habang binabagtas ang mainland Luzon dahil sa interaksyon sa lupa,” dagdag nito.
