MANILA, Philippines- Matapos maghain ng mga reklamong direct assault, disobedience, at grave coercion laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte at iba pa, sinabi ng National Police (PNP) nitong Linggo na maghahain ng karagdagang kaso kasunod ng mga pangyayari.
Sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo na isinampa ang mga inisyal na reklamo laban kina Duterte, Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) head Colonel Raymund Dante Lachica, at iba pang John Does kaugnay ng kaguluhang nangyari nang sumama pakiramdam ni Atty. Zuleika Lopez habang nakaditine siya sa House of Representatives.
“Inaasahan natin na may mga iba pa po tayong mga kaso maliban nga dito sa grave coercion, direct assault, at disobedience to persons in authority,” pahayag ng opisyal sa isang panayam.
Hindi niya idinetalye ang mga karagdagang kasong isasampa sa Bise Presidente.
Sa kasalukuyan ay wala pang komento ang Office of the Vice President (OVP) ukol dito.
“The PNP remains committed to its mandate to enforce the law without fear or favor. The filing of cases against any individual, regardless of status or political affiliation, is a reflection of our duty to the Constitution and the Filipino people,” pahayag naman ni PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil.
