MANILA, Philippines- Sinabi ni Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) chairman at CEO Alejandro Tengco nitong Huwebes na nagsumite sila ng board of directors ng kanilang courtesy resignations.
“I had filed my courtesy resignation together with the entire PAGCOR Board,” pahayag ni Tengco.
“We all serve at the pleasure of the President,” wika niya.
Kasunod ito ng pag-utos ng Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) sa non-ex-officio chairpersons, chief executive officers (CEOs), at all appointive directors/trustees/members ng kanilang kaukulang GOCCs’ governing boards na agad magsumite ng kanilang courtesy resignations sa Pangulo sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Executive Secretary.
Nauna nang inihayag ni Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang resulta ng May 2025 midterm polls, na ayon sa kanya ay nagpapakitang ang mga tao ay “tired of politics and they are disappointed with the government.” RNT/SA
