ITALY – Patay ang isang lalaki matapos itong higupin ng makina ng eroplano habang naghahanda sa pag-take off sa Bergamo Airport sa northern Italy nitong Martes, Hulyo 8, sinabi ng tagapagsalita ng paliparan.
Ang 35-anyos na lalaki, na “neither a passenger nor an airport employee”, ay nagpumilit na magtungo sa runway kung saan hinabol siya ng airport security.
Ginamit umano nito ang emergency exit para magtungo sa runway at saka dumiretso sa eroplano na naghahanda sa take off.
“One person not onboard and not affiliated with the company was seriously injured. All 154 passengers and six crew are safe,” sinabi ng Spanish airline Volotea, sa flight nito mula Bergamo patungong Asturias sa Spain.
“We are doing everything possible to support the affected passengers and crew, providing them with psychological support, while working in close coordination with the Italian authorities.”
