MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na kasalukuyan nilang iniimbestigahan ang pag-hack ng Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Policy Reform, Innovation, and Streamlining Management (PRISM) platform, na nasira noong Setyembre 16.
Sa isang pahayag noong Biyernes, Setyembre 19, sinabi ng DICT na nangyari ang cyberattack noong Setyembre 16 bandang 8:57 p.m. at kasangkot ang paninira ng platform ng PRISM, isang online na sistema na nag-aalok ng mga kurso sa pagsasanay sa Regulatory Impact Assessment.
“We are currently conducting a thorough assessment of the submitted incident report and closely coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure a proper investigation and the implementation of necessary measures,” ayon sa DICT.
Napansin ng departamento na walang sensitibong data ang nakompromiso, dahil walang aktibong user ang naka-enrol sa mga kurso sa pagsasanay sa oras ng insidente.
“Based on the incident report’s initial assessment, no sensitive data has been compromised, and at the time of the incident, no active users are currently enrolled in the said training courses,” dagdag nito.
Ayon sa DICT, ang Cybersecurity Bureau–NCR nito ay nakikipagtulungan sa ARTA para magsagawa ng vulnerability assessment at maglagay ng mga safeguard para palakasin ang platform.
“The DICT-Cybersecurity Bureau NCR is now closely working with ARTA for a vulnerability assessment and to implement other measures necessary to ensure the safety and security of these systems,” ayon sa ahensya. RNT/MND
