MANILA, Philippines – Nagsuspinde ng pasok ang Senado at House of Representatives ngayong Lunes, Setyembre 22, 2025 dahil sa banta ng masamang panahon na dala ni super typhoon Nando at habagat.
Sinabi ng upper chamber sa isang advisory na ang pagsuspinde ay alinsunod din sa Memorandum Circular No. 97 ng Palasyo na sinuspinde ang trabaho ng gobyerno sa ilang lugar, kabilang ang Metro Manila.
“In view of Memorandum Circular No. 97 issued today by the Office of the President, which suspends work in government offices in Metro Manila tomorrow on account of the forecast of heavy rainfall due to super typhoon Nando and the southwest monsoon, Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III has ordered the suspension of work at the Senate on Monday, 22 September 2025,” nakasaad sa advisory.
Gayundin, ipinag-utos ni Speaker Bojie Dy ang pagsuspinde ng trabaho sa House of Representatives ngayong Lunes, dahil sa posibleng malakas na pag-ulan na dala ng super typhoon Nando, sinabi ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco sa isang memorandum na inilabas ngayong Lunes ng umaga. RNT/MND
