MANILA, Philippines – Nakipag-ugnayan ang Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) sa mga inhinyero ng Philippine National Police (PNP) para sa field validation ng “ghost projects” sa gitna ng patuloy na imbestigasyon nito sa mga anomalya sa imprastraktura.
Sa isang press briefing nitong Martes, sinabi ni ICI Executive Director Brian Keith Hosaka na nagsagawa ang komisyon ng technical at coordination meeting kasama ang mga PNP engineers para sa field validation na kanilang gagawin sa 421 flood control ghost projects na kamakailan ay siniyasat sa buong bansa.
Dagdag pa niya, inimbitahan din ng ICI ang isang engineer mula sa pribadong sektor na si Engineer Michael Reyes, na bahagi ng Council of Engineering Consultants of the Philippines, para humingi ng kanyang “expertise on how we can go about the validation of these 421 ghost projects.”
Inimbitahan din anila ang Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) upang humingi ng tulong sa mga tuntunin ng paghawak ng ebidensya at kung paano idokumento ang validation ng mga ghost projects.
“We are [looking at] evidence here. What we are looking at here is that a crime has happened. So we have to make sure that the evidence to be gathered will be acceptable in court. So that is their value why they are here,” aniya. RNT/MND
