MANILA, Philippines – Ayon kay Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla, ang isa sa mga umanong deliveries ng “maleta” ay naganap na noong termino ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sinabi ni Remulla na isang larawan sa affidavit ng tinaguriang “18 ex-Marines” ay kuha pa noong panahon ni dating Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, mula Oktubre 2020 hanggang Hunyo 2022.
“It appears that this delivery was done during the time of Speaker Lord Velasco; that picture that was put in the affidavit was done in the time of Lord Velasco,” ani Remulla. Dagdag pa niya, “Duterte time, definitely.”
Ang 18 personalidad ay inaakusahang mga bagmen ni dating Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Zaldy Co, at umano’y naghain ng P805 billion mula sa anomalous flood-control projects.
Binanggit ng abogado nila na si Levito Baligod na si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang mastermind, ngunit mariing itinanggi ito ng Malacañang.
